The Vocational Rehabilitation program provides services to individuals with disabilities, with the goal to prepare for, enter into, or retain employment. Services provided by VR may include, but are not limited to, vocational evaluation, job training, job search, job placement, transportation, job site modification, self-employment. Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) is a state-federal program whose goal is to assist people with disabilities prepare for, secure, retain or regain employment. The Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) and Supported Employment (SE) programs are funded, in part, with federal grant funds awarded by the Department of Education. In FFY 2020, the agency received $63,511,322 in federal grant funding and $17,189,214 of state funds for VR services. An Important announcement to VocRehab Vermont's partners and customers. Rehabilitation

Vocational Rehabilitation helps eligible individuals with disabilities to achieve their employment goals. We are taking steps to help current VR participants, new VR applicants, VR staff, and VR providers to remain safe and healthy during the current public health situation. This includes providing services in different ways, but please be assured that VR services are still available during this time.
